Thermal Hot Springs around La Fortuna, have an intrinsic relationship with the volcanic activity present in the area. The magmatic material in the underground heats the waters, originating the hot springs. This magmatic origin gives to these waters special properties, due to the rich presence of certain minerals which are adhered to the water in their union con el magma.
