This half-day canyoning tour will take you deep inside the Pure Trek canyon to experience a series of waterfall rappels, and activities like rock climbing and the “Monkey Drop” – you will get wet!

Keep your eyes open for a chance to see toucans, sloths, monkeys, and other exotic wildlife.

After canyoning, you’ll head back to Pure Trek’s headquarters to enjoy a delicious, garden-fresh lunch.

What to expect

One of the greatest adventures you may ever take. Totally safe and suitable from 5 years old. Believe it or not, you will be able to use climbing equipment and rappel down on 5 different waterfalls without any experience. Totally safe and funny.

Price per person (USD). / Taxes included.
Children rate: between 5-11 years old.
Minimum age: 5 years old.
Minimum persons required: 2.
The pick-up time will be indicated in the voucher. It depends on the place's location.
Add $10 per person if the pick-up is at Observatory Lodge, Arenal Lodge, The Springs Resort, or Linda Vista hotel.
Women in pregnancy are not allowed.
Since we are based in the rainforest, there is a possibility that it could rain at any time of year. We operate the tour rain or shine unless weather conditions are extreme. If for any reason we have to cancel the tour, you will receive a 100% refund.
We recommend our clients to be in moderate physical condition to participate in the tour.
For small children, older adults, or people with physical disabilities or challenges, we have a special way to lower you down each waterfall so you don’t have to use your strength to rappel down.
Rappelling down the waterfall takes some, but not much physical strength.
Please let us know if you are experiencing any health issues, heart problems, or physical disabilities and we can help you decide if the tour is right for you based on your unique situation.
The most physically challenging part of the tour is leisurely hiking up and out of the canyon at the end of the tour.
