The Fortuna River Waterfall is an icon of the area and one of the greatest attractions of the place. This beautiful 70-meter-high waterfall is born inside a preserve owned and managed by La Fortuna Town, which makes this attraction a very important source of development for the town.
When we get to the park, we will have our first view from the lookout, then we walk down on 530 steps paved trail which take us to the base of the waterfall and to the river, where you can also have a relaxing time in the waters and admire all the nature that surrounds this magnificent cascade.
Great hike, good cardio, exuberant forest, nice pictures, and wonderful views of the waterfall. We can refresh at the river as well.
